BRAP 2020 incorporates 301 reform points across 15 business regulatory areas, including sectoral reforms introduced for the first time, with 72 reforms identified across nine key sectors. The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has been releasing BRAP since 2014 to foster an investor-friendly environment. The assessment is feedback-based, reflecting input from businesses regarding the implementation quality of reforms by States and UTs.
