of <h1>NMDFC Disburses Record Rs. 233.26 Crore in 2010-11; Govt Increases Share Capital to Rs. 1500 Crore.</h1> The National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC) has shown significant progress, disbursing Rs. 233.26 crore to 158,510 beneficiaries in the 2010-11 financial year, marking its highest achievement. Up to November 2011 in the 2011-12 period, Rs. 80.29 crore were disbursed to 21,996 beneficiaries. The Indian government has increased NMDFC's authorized share capital from Rs. 1000 crore to Rs. 1500 crore and provided substantial equity during the XIth Five Year Plan. To enhance NMDFC's operations, a consultancy firm was engaged to propose restructuring measures, and their recommendations have been submitted.
