<h1>Profit of CPSEs Rose by 37.53%, Losses Dropped by 29.86% in FY 2020-21, 177 Enterprises Profitable.</h1> The total profit of profit-making Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) increased by 37.53%, while the total loss of loss-making CPSEs decreased by 29.86% during FY 2020-21 compared to FY 2019-20. As of March 31, 2021, there were 255 operational CPSEs with a total turnover of Rs. 24,26,045 crore. Among these, 177 CPSEs were profitable, generating a total profit of Rs. 1,89,320 crore. Navratna CPSEs showed improved performance with no reported job losses due to cost-cutting measures.
