In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs hereby makes the following amendments in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs Notification No.13/2022-CUSTOMS (N.T.), dated 3rd March, 2022 with effect from 12th March, 2022.

In the SCHEDULE-I of the said Notification, for serial No.18 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: -

Exchange rate adjustment: Turkish lira entry updated to set distinct import and export rates for customs processing. The customs authority amends an existing exchange rate notification by substituting the serial entry for the Turkish lira in Schedule-I, prescribing distinct import and export exchange rate quotations that will apply for customs valuation and related processing from the notification's stated effective date.
