APEDA aims to exceed a target of USD 23.7 billion for the current fiscal year. The organization has enhanced export traceability through IT initiatives and transformed the Purvanchal region into an agri-export hub. APEDA is focusing on promoting exports of Geographical Indications (GI) tagged products and has facilitated trial shipments to new destinations. The revamped Agri Export Policy is nearing completion, with state-specific action plans finalized in 21 states and two union territories.
