In January 2022, exports increased by 23.69% to USD 34.06 billion compared to January 2021. For the period April 2021 to January 2022, exports rose by 46.53% to USD 335.44 billion from USD 228.9 billion in the previous year. Non-petroleum exports in January 2022 were USD 30.33 billion, up 19.4% from January 2021. The top export commodities included engineering goods, petroleum products, and gems and jewelry, contributing significantly to the growth.
