Between September 2014 and March 2021, 730,013 companies were formed, with 669,819 maintaining active status. From April to December 2021, 112,697 companies were incorporated, with 112,207 active. The initiative aims to enhance investment, innovation, and infrastructure, positioning India as a manufacturing and design hub, and is a key component of the government's strategy to boost the manufacturing sector and promote local entrepreneurship.
