<h1>Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor progresses with Rs. 17,500 crore funding; Uttar Pradesh city excluded from master plans.</h1> The Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor project is progressing with approved master plans for new industrial cities, excluding one in Uttar Pradesh. The Cabinet has sanctioned financial assistance of Rs. 17,500 crore over five years for developing these cities. Additionally, Rs. 1,000 crore is allocated for project development activities by the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation. State governments have begun land acquisition processes, except in Uttar Pradesh. This update was provided by the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry in a written response to a question in the Rajya Sabha.
