<h1>India Forms 20-Member Empowered Group to Boost Infrastructure Efficiency Under PM Gati Shakti Plan.</h1> The Government of India has established a 20-member Empowered Group of Secretaries (EGoS) to oversee the development and implementation of the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan (NMP). Chaired by the Cabinet Secretary, the group includes key secretaries from various infrastructure-related ministries. The EGoS aims to enhance logistics efficiency, coordinate project amendments, and synchronize construction activities for infrastructure development. It will also develop a common integrated portal for stakeholders and issue directions to achieve the plan's objectives. The Logistics Division will serve as the secretariat for the EGoS, which can co-opt additional secretaries as needed.
