The agreement, approved by the Cabinet earlier, was signed by a representative from India's Department of Economic Affairs. During the 15th Plenary Meeting of the EAG in Xiamen, China, India's delegation was recognized for its contributions. India offered assistance to member nations in improving financial systems, capital market monitoring, and drafting legislation. The EAG, a regional body similar to the Financial Action Task Force, includes nine members, such as India, Russia, and China, and 29 observers.
