DPIIT-recognized startup job creation reported, showing aggregate multi-year growth and yearly employment distribution disclosed. DPIIT-recognized startups reported cumulative job creation of 527,517 for 2018 through mid-2021, with annual reported tallies increasing from 2018 into 2020 and a partial 2021 figure recorded as of 21 July 2021; the figures were disclosed in response to a parliamentary question and published as official aggregate employment statistics.
