These allocations are made within the limits of the Gross Budgetary Support. For the fiscal years 2020-21 and 2021-22, the total transfers, excluding tax devolution, were Rs 713,014.40 crore and Rs 674,253.42 crore, respectively. The funds' utilization is monitored by the respective State Governments and Central Ministries to ensure effective implementation. This information was provided by the Minister of State for Finance in a written response in the Lok Sabha.
