He also holds independent charges for the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and the Ministry of Planning. Singh, a five-term Member of Parliament from Gurgaon, Haryana, has over four decades of public service experience. Previously, he served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in Haryana and held ministerial roles in the state government. A graduate in law from Delhi University, Singh is also known for his work as an advocate, agriculturist, and social worker.
