<h1>Finance Ministry Disburses Rs. 9,871 Crore Revenue Deficit Grant to 17 States Under Article 275, Total Rs. 39,484 Crore Released.</h1> The Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, has disbursed a revenue deficit grant of Rs. 9,871 crore to 17 states as the fourth monthly installment of the Post Devolution Revenue Deficit (PDRD) Grant. This brings the total amount released in the current financial year to Rs. 39,484 crore. The grants, recommended by the Fifteenth Finance Commission, aim to address the revenue-expenditure gap post-devolution under Article 275 of the Constitution. The Commission has recommended a total of Rs. 1,18,452 crore for the fiscal year 2021-22. The states receiving these grants include Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Haryana, and others.
