of <h1>Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2021-22: Subscribe May 24-28, 2021; Pay Online for Rs. 50 Discount Per Gram.</h1> The Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2021-22 (Series II) will be available for subscription from May 24 to May 28, 2021, with a settlement date of June 1, 2021. The issue price is set at Rs. 4,842 per gram. However, investors applying online and paying digitally will receive a Rs. 50 discount per gram, reducing the price to Rs. 4,792. This initiative is part of the Government of India's strategy, in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, to encourage digital transactions.
