The operation spanned 14 locations across Guwahati, Delhi, Silapathar, and Pathsala. The groups are accused of obtaining non-genuine unsecured loans and securities premium from shell companies in Kolkata, concealing profits, and reintroducing unaccounted income into their businesses. Evidence revealed a cash trail of approximately Rs. 65 crore routed through these shell companies. Jewelry worth Rs. 9.79 lakh and cash amounting to Rs. 2.95 crore were seized. An undisclosed income of about Rs. 100 crore has been identified, with further investigations ongoing.
