The project aims to construct 783 km of highways using sustainable technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It will also enhance the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways' capacity to integrate safety and green technologies. The initiative seeks to improve connectivity, promote economic development, and address gender-related employment issues in the transport sector. Additionally, it includes a disaster risk assessment of 5,000 km of the National Highway network to ensure climate resilience.
