Apply by Jan 31.</h1> The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) is launching the second edition of the National Startup Awards 2021, recognizing startups' resilience during the pandemic. The awards now include additional categories focusing on innovations for an AatmaNirbhar Bharat. Applications are open until January 31, 2021, for awards in 49 areas across 15 sectors like Agriculture, Health, and FinTech. Special awards target startups from educational institutions, rural areas, and women entrepreneurs, among others. Winning startups receive INR 5 lakh each, with opportunities for pilot projects and event participation. One incubator and one accelerator will also receive INR 15 lakh each.
