of <h1>Tariff Values Amended for Oils, Metals, and Nuts Under Customs Act 1962; Check New Rates for Gold and Silver.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has amended the tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised values include crude palm oil at $628 per metric tonne, RBD palm oil at $648, and crude soybean oil at $728. Brass scrap is set at $3419 per metric tonne, and poppy seeds at $3623. Gold and silver have specific tariff values, with gold at $570 per 10 grams and silver at $577 per kilogram. Areca nuts are valued at $3746 per metric tonne. These changes reflect adjustments in the customs notification originally issued in August 2001.
