<h1>Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 Extended to March 31, 2021, Amid COVID-19; Export Benefits and Exemptions Prolonged.</h1> The Union Commerce and Industry Ministry has extended the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 by one year, now valid until March 31, 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This extension includes maintaining benefits under export promotion schemes, except for the SEIS, and prolonging the validity of related procedures and Status Holder Certificates. Exemptions from IGST and Compensation Cess on imports under specific authorizations are also extended. Additional measures include extensions for duty-free import authorizations, export obligations, and application deadlines for duty credit scrips. The validity for Letters of Permission/Intent and timelines for filing reports and applications for refunds have also been extended.
