<h1>India's 2019-20 Accounts: Rs. 11.77 lakh crore in receipts, Rs. 21.09 lakh crore in expenditure, Rs. 4.76 lakh crore transferred.</h1> The Union Government of India's accounts for December 2019 in the 2019-20 financial year show total receipts of Rs. 11,77,922 crores, comprising Rs. 9,04,944 crores in tax revenue, Rs. 2,41,953 crores in non-tax revenue, and Rs. 31,025 crores in non-debt capital receipts. Transfers to state governments amounted to Rs. 4,76,113 crores, which is Rs. 10,738 crores less than the previous year. Total government expenditure reached Rs. 21,09,647 crores, with Rs. 18,54,125 crores on revenue and Rs. 2,55,522 crores on capital accounts. Revenue expenditure included Rs. 4,24,314 crores for interest payments and Rs. 2,52,038 crores for major subsidies.
