Customs revenue increased by 15.8% for the month and 17.2% up to November, while excise duties rose by 5.3% for the month and 7.5% year-to-date. Overall, total revenue from customs and excise grew by 10% for the month and 11.7% up to November. Service tax revenue, recorded up to October 2007, saw a remarkable increase of 29.2% for the month and 35.3% year-to-date. Combined revenue from customs, excise, and service tax up to October 2007 rose by 15.4% compared to the previous year.
