This initiative, announced by the Finance Minister, resulted in Rs. 2.52 lakh crore disbursed in October and Rs. 2.39 lakh crore in November. Specific disbursements included Rs. 72,985 crore to MSMEs and Rs. 45,153 crore to NBFCs. The outreach supports economic growth without compromising on prudent lending, with PSBs maintaining sufficient liquidity and capital to sustain credit expansion.
