<h1>Over 18,000 Insolvency Cases Filed under IBC 2016; 279 Closed via Section 12A by Mid-2019.</h1> As of June 30, 2019, 18,782 cases were filed under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) 2016, with 2,173 cases admitted. Of these, 1,274 cases are in various stages of the resolution process, 129 have resulted in resolution, 491 have commenced liquidation, and 279 have been closed through appeal, review, settlement, or withdrawal under Section 12A of the IBC. These actions align with IBC provisions, as stated by the Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.
