<h1>India's 2019-20 Financial Year: Govt Receives Rs. 1.46 Lakh Crore by May, Transfers Rs. 99,087 Crore to States.</h1> The Union Government of India reported receiving Rs. 1,46,830 crore in total receipts up to May 2019 for the financial year 2019-20, representing 7.06% of the budget estimates. This includes Rs. 1,15,340 crore in net tax revenue, Rs. 28,423 crore in non-tax revenue, and Rs. 3,067 crore in non-debt capital receipts. Non-debt capital receipts comprise Rs. 712 crore from loan recoveries and Rs. 2,355 crore from disinvestment. The government transferred Rs. 99,087 crore to state governments as tax devolution, which is Rs. 12,491 crore less than the previous year. Total expenditure was Rs. 5,12,987 crore, with Rs. 4,65,284 crore on revenue account and Rs. 47,703 crore on capital account.
