The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved thesigning and ratification of bilateral investment treaty between India and Kyrgyzstan.

The Bilateral Treaty is likely to increase investment flow between India and Kyrgyzstan and protection to investors of both countries making investments in both countries.

 

Bilateral investment treaty promotes increased investment flows and legal protection for investors between India and Kyrgyzstan. Cabinet approval authorised signing and ratification of a bilateral investment treaty between India and Kyrgyzstan, creating a legal framework to promote cross border investment flows and to provide protections for investors of each country, with implementation contingent on completion of the parties' domestic procedures.
