        <h1>GST Revenue for May 2019 Reaches Rs. 1,00,289 Crore, a 6.67% Rise from May 2018; Significant IGST and Settlements Detailed.</h1> GST revenue for May 2019 amounted to Rs. 1,00,289 crore, marking a 6.67% increase compared to May 2018's Rs. 94,016 crore. The breakdown includes Rs. 17,811 crore for CGST, Rs. 24,462 crore for SGST, Rs. 49,891 crore for IGST (with Rs. 24,875 crore from imports), and Rs. 8,125 crore for Cess (with Rs. 953 crore from imports). The government settled Rs. 18,098 crore to CGST and Rs. 14,438 crore to SGST from IGST. After settlements, the Central Government earned Rs. 35,909 crore and State Governments Rs. 38,900 crore. Additionally, Rs. 18,934 crore was released to states as GST compensation for February-March 2019.
