Over 400 participants from countries including Tanzania, Kenya, and South Africa attended. India's trade with Africa was USD 62.69 billion in 2017-18. The initiative aimed to leverage the Indian Diaspora, comprising 2.8 million individuals in Africa, for mutual trade benefits. Key issues discussed included improving credit systems, establishing Indian banks in Africa, liberalizing visa policies, and exploring rupee trade.
