Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), Department of Revenue has issued a Notification No.57/2011-Customs (N.T.) dated August 12, 2011 and thereby notifying tariff values of edible oils, brass scrap (all grades) and Poppy seeds as shown in the table below.

Tariff values set for imported commodities providing uniform customs valuation benchmarks for edible oils, brass scrap and poppy seeds. Notification No.57/2011-Customs (N.T.) dated August 12, 2011 fixes tariff values in US dollars per metric tonne for specified imports: various edible oils (noted as unchanged), Brass Scrap (all grades) and Poppy Seeds. The table sets distinct unit values for Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, other palm oil categories, palmolein variants, Crude Soyabean Oil, Brass Scrap, and Poppy Seeds to serve as reference benchmarks for customs valuation and import assessment. of Press 'Enter' after typing page number.
