<h1>New Online Portal for Industrial Entrepreneurs' Memorandum and Industrial Licence Applications Under Arms Act and Industries Act Launched.</h1> The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion has launched a new online portal for submitting applications for Industrial Entrepreneurs' Memorandum and Industrial Licence under the Arms Act and Industries (Development Regulation) Act, 1951. Effective from October 16, 2018, all applications must be filed through this portal, as submissions via the E-biz portal or in physical form will no longer be accepted. This initiative aims to streamline the application process for industrial entrepreneurs and manufacturers of defense items, enhancing efficiency and accessibility.
