Over 10 lakh accounts were mobilized, raising the cumulative APY subscriber base to 1.09 crore. PFRDA introduced online features to allow subscribers to manage accounts without visiting bank branches. Awards were given to banks and officials for outstanding performance in various categories, including best performing private and regional rural banks, nodal officers, and branch managers, recognizing their contributions to promoting pension schemes in India.
