Following Indian Banks Association guidelines, banks aim to process loan applications within 15 to 30 days. From its inception to July 29, 2018, the portal received 144,390 applications, with 42,733 sanctioned and 26,392 rejected or closed. As of July 29, 2018, 22,119 applications have been pending for over six months, primarily due to non-compliance with guidelines or incomplete information. Banks are actively engaging with students to expedite the submission of required documents.
