This growth is attributed to government measures on FDI policy liberalization and improvements in the ease of doing business. The FDI inflow rose from $55.56 billion in 2015-16 to $60.22 billion in 2016-17, achieving the highest levels since 2015-16. These figures surpass those of any prior financial year, reflecting the positive impact of policy reforms. The information was provided by the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.
