RBI Reference Rate for US $

The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US Dollar is ₹ 68.6227 on July 02, 2018.

The corresponding rate for the previous day (June 29, 2018) was ₹ 68.5753.

Based on the reference rate for the US Dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rate of EUR, GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rate for US Dollar establishes Rupee exchange benchmarks and informs EUR, GBP, JPY rates and SDR Rupee linkage. The release records the Reference Rate for the US Dollar against the Rupee as Rs. 68.6227 on July 2, 2018 (prior day Rs. 68.5753) and states that the USD reference rate, combined with cross currency middle rates, yields derived exchange rates for EUR, GBP and JPY; it also specifies that the SDR Rupee rate will be based on the reference rate.
