The corresponding rate for the previous day (April 16, 2018) was ₹ 65.4476.

Based on the reference rate for the US Dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rate of EUR, GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference exchange rate for US dollar published; cross-currency rupee rates and SDR rupee linkage officially stated. The Reserve Bank of India published the reference exchange rate for the US dollar for April 17, 2018, comparing it with the previous day's rate and supplying the middle cross-currency quotes from which Rupee rates for the euro, pound sterling and Japanese yen are derived; the release also specifies that the SDR Rupee rate will be based on this reference rate.
