The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved thesigning of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Vietnam on Economic and Trade Cooperation.

The MoU would expand more bilateral trade and economic cooperation between India and Vietnam.

Economic and Trade Cooperation MoU enhances bilateral trade frameworks between India and Vietnam following cabinet approval. Approval of an international MoU on Economic and Trade Cooperation authorises executive-level engagement to expand bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two states and enables subsequent diplomatic and administrative steps required for operationalising the cooperation framework.
