<h1>India's December 2017 Financial Report: Government Receives 67.4% of Budgeted Revenue, Transfers to States Increase by Rs. 51,363 Crore.</h1> The Union Government of India's financial report for December 2017 indicates that it received Rs. 10,78,006 crore, representing 67.4% of the budgeted estimates for the fiscal year 2017-18. This includes Rs. 9,00,124 crore in net tax revenue, Rs. 1,13,498 crore in non-tax revenue, and Rs. 64,384 crore in non-debt capital receipts. The government transferred Rs. 4,33,470 crore to state governments, which is Rs. 51,363 crore more than the previous year. Total government expenditure reached Rs. 16,98,955 crore, with Rs. 14,62,359 crore on revenue account and Rs. 2,36,596 crore on capital account, including significant amounts for interest payments and major subsidies.
