MoSPI maintains IMF SDDS compliance with an Advance Release Calendar and simultaneous dissemination. Major methodological reforms include rebasing National Accounts, IIP and CPI to 2011-12 with improved data sources and methods, launch of the Periodic Labour Force Survey using CAPI, introduction of the Collection of Statistics (Amendment) Bill, technological upgrades for data dissemination and cataloguing, and strengthened project and MPLADS monitoring frameworks.
