<h1>India to Mint Commemorative Coins Honoring Renowned Carnatic Vocalist and Actor-Politician's Birth Centenaries.</h1> The Government of India has announced the issuance of commemorative coins to honor the birth centenaries of two prominent figures. Coins of Rs. 100 and Rs. 10 denominations will be minted for a renowned Carnatic vocalist, while coins of Rs. 100 and Rs. 5 will be issued for a celebrated actor and politician. The Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) will produce these coins. The vocalist was the first musician to receive the Bharat Ratna and the Ramon Magsaysay Award. The actor, also a former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna.
