of <h1>CBEC Updates: Brass Scrap Tariff Value Reduced to $4368/MT; Palm and Soybean Oil Tariffs Unchanged.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), Department of Revenue, issued a notification on November 15, 2007, detailing the tariff values for edible oils and brass scrap. The tariff values for six types of palm oils and crude soybean oil remain unchanged. However, the tariff value for brass scrap across all grades has been reduced to 4368 USD per metric tonne. This adjustment is part of the ongoing evaluation and regulation of import tariffs on these commodities.
