<h1>Extension of Central Goods and Services Tax to Jammu and Kashmir approved, to be formalized by an amendment bill.</h1> An ordinance extended provisions of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 to Jammu and Kashmir, the executive gave ex post facto approval for that ordinance, and the Central Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2017 will be tabled in Parliament to replace the ordinance.
