RBI Reference Rate for US $

The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US Dollar is ₹ 64.3485 on June 05, 2017.

The corresponding rate for the previous day (June 02, 2017) was ₹ 64.4208.

Based on the reference rate for the US Dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rate of EUR, GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rate determination guides rupee cross-currency rates and sets the basis for SDR-rupee conversion. Reserve Bank of India published a Reference Rate for the US Dollar which serves as the anchor for deriving rupee exchange rates; the release compares the current and previous published dollar reference and states that euro, pound sterling and yen rupee rates are derived from that dollar reference using the middle rates of cross currency quotes, and that the SDR-rupee rate will be based on the published reference rate.
