<h1>DRI Busts Major Gold Smuggling Racket in Delhi, Seizes 44 kg of Gold Hidden in Poultry Equipment.</h1> The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) in Delhi has dismantled a significant gold smuggling operation, seizing 44 kg of foreign-marked gold concealed in poultry equipment from a truck arriving from Mundra Port, Gujarat. The smuggler, who operates a poultry appliance business, used this method to smuggle approximately 300 kg of gold worth Rs. 90 crore from Dubai in 2017. The investigation revealed that gold bars were hidden in metallic cases of poultry incubators, making detection difficult. The DRI is interrogating the truck driver, importer, and associates as part of the ongoing investigation.
