<h1>India amends PMGKDS 2016, allowing multiple deposits for undisclosed income; changes para 4(4) of original notification.</h1> The Government of India has amended the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Deposit Scheme (PMGKDS), 2016, allowing declarants to make deposits on multiple occasions. This amendment, made in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, modifies para 4(4) of the original notification. The scheme requires individuals declaring undisclosed income under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, 2016, to deposit at least 25% of this income in authorized banks. Deposits can be made from December 17, 2016, to March 31, 2017, and must occur before filing the declaration under section 199C.
