Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has clarified that the date for obtaining tax audit report under section 44AB of the Income Tax Act has also been extended to 31st December 2007 in the state of Bihar.

CBDT has already extended the last date of filing of income tax returns due by 31st October 2007 to 31st December 2007 in the state of Bihar in view of the disruption caused by floods in the state.
