of <h1>GST Council Meeting Rescheduled to December 2-3, 2016, as States Seek More Time for Draft Law Review.</h1> The GST Council meeting originally set for November 25, 2016, has been rescheduled to December 2-3, 2016. This change follows an officers' meeting between the States and the Centre on November 21-22, 2016, in the national capital, where three draft GST-related laws were extensively discussed. While several issues were resolved, States requested additional time for internal review of the revised drafts. Consequently, a Law Sub-Committee meeting is slated for November 25, 2016, in Delhi to finalize the drafts before presenting them to the GST Council.
