RBI has established a Cyber Security and IT Examination Cell and issued a circular on cyber security best practices for banks. It also conducts cyber security preparedness testing and has formed a Cyber Crisis Management Group to handle major incidents. An IT Subsidiary focuses on cyber security within RBI and regulated entities.
