<h1>Government Boosts Small Enterprises with MSE-CDP and PMEGP; Infrastructure Centers Established Nationwide, Supporting 61 New Businesses.</h1> The government is promoting small enterprises through financial support under the Micro, Small Medium Enterprises Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP) and the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP). Between 2008-09 and 2009-10, infrastructure development centers were sanctioned in various districts across India, including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Tripura, and Tamil Nadu. These initiatives have led to the establishment of 61 small and micro enterprises. Additionally, the PMEGP has assisted numerous units across different states and union territories, with notable support in West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, and Maharashtra, among others.
