Calendar for Marketable Dated Securities for October2016-March 2017 issued

To enable institutional and retail investors to plan their investments efficiently and provide transparency and stability to the Government securities market, an indicative calendar for issuance of Government dated securities for the second half of the Fiscal Year 2016-17 (October01, 2016 to March 31, 2017) is being issued in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India(RBI). The issuance calendar is as under:

Issuance calendar for government dated securities sets weekly maturity-wise allocation to guide investor planning and market transparency. An indicative issuance calendar for Government dated securities covering October 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017 establishes weekly auction windows with stated per week target amounts and a total half year program, and allocates each weekly auction across four maturity bands (5-9 years, 10-14 years, 15-19 years, and 20 years & above) with approximate ranges for each band to promote transparency and investor planning.
