<h1>RBI Sets US Dollar Reference Rate at Rs. 66.4482; Updates Exchange Rates for Euro, Pound, Yen on September 28, 2016.</h1> The Reserve Bank of India set the reference rate for the US Dollar at Rs. 66.4482 on September 28, 2016, slightly down from Rs. 66.4627 the previous day. The exchange rates for other currencies against the Rupee were also provided: the Euro was Rs. 74.4552, the British Pound was Rs. 86.4823, and 100 Japanese Yen was Rs. 66.09 on September 28, 2016. These rates are determined based on the US Dollar reference rate and middle rates of cross-currency quotes. The SDR-Rupee rate will align with this reference rate.
